Tamara Beauzile Travels Around the World

· Lawyer,Traveler

Tamara Beauzile has had many opportunities to travel the world and meet people of different cultures. She is grateful to have had these opportunities and values the insights they have brought her.

As a young police officer, Tamara went to Haiti to assist a United Nations effort to help the nation. As a Haitian Creole speaker, she was ideal for the position. Tamara trained local police officers in the proper police procedures for the modern age. In the meantime, she traveled around the island and got to know the people and culture well. The experience impressed her with the importance of expanding one’s horizons and meeting new people.

Tamara developed a taste for getting to know new places, and she has traveled around many parts of the Caribbean, including The Bahamas, St. Kitts, St. Martin, St. Thomas, Aruba, Bonaire, Jamaica, Curacao and the Cayman Islands. The Caribbean holds a special place in Tamara’s heart and always will.

She has also traveled to other places, including Europe, Canada and Cancun, Mexico. She especially enjoyed seeing Europe and fondly remembers the tour of the Vatican in Rome, the Eiffel Tower and Louvre Museum in Paris and the city of Milan.

Tamara Beauzile plans on traveling again now that she has retired. Though she has no specific places in mind, she knows that the Caribbean and Europe are always excellent travel destinations. As long as she is getting the experience of seeing a new land and becoming acquainted with a new culture, she knows the trip will be worthwhile.
